Great experience. Authentic, delicious, fresh! If you are looking for a special treat, you won't be disappointed. The friendly and warm service was swift and professional and food exceptional. A firm favorite on our Cape Town restaurant list!

Many reviews said they were rude, but I thought I'd try them anyway. Confirmed. They are rude. Wouldn't give me a table cause I'm only 1 person, take away only I was told.
The "Pork" Dumplings on the lunch special were quite a surprise, I think there may have been some pork between all the spinach, but realistically they are spinach dumplings. Despite that, the food was quite tasty though.

Really bad. First of all we were not given the full menu but only one with 5 dishes. They were not welcoming at all. The food was really bad the meat had a stange texture (was even wondering if it was real beef). When we were about to leave a group of Chinese people came in and suddenly they became welcoming and polite and they were offered the full menu. I do not recommend at all.

Whilst I have not (yet) experienced their bad service I can say that their food is not that good. They have a saying in Chinese that summarizes the food nicely, "Mǎmǎhūhū". Which roughly translates to "okay but on the not trying hard enough or below average side of okay."

Authentic Chinese food in Cape Town. Warm and friendly service. Deliciously fresh and quality food. Highly recommend the Sea Palace.

Did care about walk in customers, they worked on Chinese tours and local group customers. Services were poor and slow as they were catered to the groups. Foods were OK.

The lady Simply refused to serve! OPENLY RACIST! Got startled and changed her mind about serving when we said this is a very large group from UK!
