We had stayed at Icon about 12 years ago and it was super stay. 5 star apartments but Sad to say we are staying here at the moment currently in 1900 and all I can say is ICON YOUR STANDARDS HAVE DROPPED DRASTICALLY. From 5 star to literally a 1 star. Our check in was awesome and so was the receptionist that helped us. Pathetic rooms, stinky cupboards and towels and blankets. Poorly decorated rooms. Filthy and burnt pot. Totally unfurnished kitchen. Bedding is most uncomfortable. Hardly any TV channels basically nothing to watch. Broken blinds no aircons in the room. Bathrooms are despicable and so old and worn out. We really expected ICON APARTMENTS to be a good choice. The amount paid for this accommodation was and is not cheap thus a totally disappointing payment and experience.

Situated in the CBD, 5 minutes from the Waterfront. Fantastic views of Table Mountain and Ocean. Beautiful spacious self catering apartments. Friendly staff and clean apartments. Place to stay all year round.

Absolutely amazing. The staff is very good, welcoming, and always willing and open to assist you with whatever you need. There is free wifi And the view is amazing.

We were in the fortunate position of staying in a friends' apartment at Icon Apartments. So we are not exposed to poor service delivery.
However; the constant Marijuana smoke is really unpleasant. It is also a pity wifi is not available. One would expect that from an establishment advertising themselves as 'luxury'.

The flat was nice amd I enjoyed my stay, I was on the 10th floor. The rooms are not cleaned everyday and I had to make a request and only then was it cleaned. If you book here, please ask for room cleaning servives every 3 days. If you choose to drive yourself there- GPS doesnt take you to the correct entrance. Use Cube Icon address on GPS then you will not gey lost. Great surprise: there is a washing machine in your flat as part the furniture.

Disgusting stay at icon apartments in cape Town long street

I am reviewing the icon luxury apartments in cape Town on long street. I'm only rating them 1 star because there is no option to put in 0 stars My stay at this hotel was absolutely disappointing to say the least There is no way to contact housekeeping to at least get a change of towels as they said they only clean rooms every second day but in my 5 day stay my room was only cleaned once.. I was forced to use the same towel every day due to no contact wit anyone in reception or housekeeping Also the day we were abou to check out I left my room for 20 mins to have breakfast across the street and when I got back my laptop was stolen from my hotel room and the hotel was not helpful at all in helping me after this I will never stay at this apartments again and I will make sure no one I know stays here as well If you stay at this hotel be prepared to have dirty towels and apartment for the duration of your stay as well as be mindful that your belongings are not safe in this hotel There is stealing that goes on and no one does anything about it I repeat you are not safe in this hotel

Very tastefully decorated, stylish, spacious apartments! However lack of basic kitchen utensils eg pans, knives, etc. Air conditioning units not regularly serviced, therefore leaks. Ideally situated close to most amenities. Stunning views of the waterfront, table mountain and lions head from the higher floors.
