We celebrated our son's birthday here. Our expectations were surpassed! The food is really good, and portions not overly large. Great care and pride is clearly taken over the preparation of exquisite dishes. We enjoyed the Morrison Pinotage, duck starter, Lamb shank and South African steak. The staff did an outstanding job of looking after us, catering to our every need and whim.

During our stay at the One u0026 Only in Cape Town we visited the Reuben's restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant is linked to the South African chef Reuben Riffel and is well known for its' high quality, delicious dishes. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and is big enough to cater for both small and large groups. The breakfast consists out of a hot buffet (bacon, beans, breakfast pizzas, etc) and cold buffet (cereals, fruits, meats, etc), as well as a menu to order other dishes to taste. They also have delicious local MCC available, as well as craft gin and fresh orange juice to make screw drivers. The restaurant had a energetic atmosphere, but my wife and I could still enjoy a relaxing breakfast. The waiters were also very friendly and tended to our every need.

Had a lovely dinner made better by the friendly staff who had taken note that it was an anniversary dinner and offered complimentary drinks and a dessert. The only disappointment was that the fries tasted like McDonald's frozen skinny fries - unacceptable to not have handcut fries at a restaurant of this calibre.

Experiance and service is excellent. The presentation of the food is great. But overpriced for the underwelming vlavors. Menue is simple but does not explain dishes well. Just a verry average meal with a great experiance.

Great restaurant. The Sunday buffet is excellent. They even give a little extra for special occasions. Highly recommended.

Thank you Reuben for the wonderful experience we had at your restaurant. It was my sons birthday which made the occasion even more special. We had the best table in the house the view .. five stars...The staff are highly trained, the atmosphere relaxed,, priceless. The food was very tasty and i loved the extra attention to detail.
After a wonderful night of laughter and dinner conversation the bill eventually came. the response around the table was, "sjoe, is that all we paying/"
Reuben.. I will definitely be back
