Great selection of fish and accessories for any type of tank setup you may want. Prices are a little higher than most pet shops, but the quality of what they sell you is in line with what you pay. Never in 10 years had a problem with fish being sick or dying from Sam's. They also give great advice and are extremely helpful regardless of if you're a beginner or seasoned pro.

This is hands down the best place to go for all your fish keeping and aquarium needs. It is well stocked, the prices are fair, the staff are friendly, helpful and have expert advice. Sam’s has been family owned for decades and is an institution in the Western Cape!

I have bought fish, plants and aquarium equipment from Sam's. The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and the fish and plants I have received are always healthy and happy. Their prices are a bit steeper than you would expect, but you definitely get your money's worth. I would recommend Sam's Aquarium to all fish enthusiasts, from beginners to experienced aquarists.

I went with a friend who got some fish for his 10 year old, and I waited in the car. my friend is a great business person, so I trust his opinion when it comes to businesses and how its run.

I was referred, I won’t go anywhere else for advice, amazing staff and I was in a panic, and my aquarium was sorted with a smile, I got home and followed instructions and my tank is beautiful, thank you guys! I love my fish and love that you can teach me what is best for them
