I love this place! Stayed here for 6 days and it was the best stay on our doorstep ever. Location is great and close to all amenities, shops, bars, gyms, transport. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms perfect for a couple and small family. Not to mention the amazing balcony setting to relax and unwind.

Although the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, their hands were tied when it came to basic necessities. No towels as they had insufficient for the whole hotel. When you did get a towel it was still damp from being washed. Shortage of coffee and milk as they had not received their delivery. Rooms freezing cold. You were lucky if you got a blanket as there were insufficient for every room in the hotel. All heaters were broken. Minimal amount of tv remotes. The hotel is, however, centrally located.

The rooms are well priced and in a prime location. However, the walls are incredibly thin and noise can be heard from a multitude of rooms.

The rooms have limited space, and are thus ideal for a simple place to rest if you find yourself in the sea point area.

There was also a remarkably odd taste with the water when using the supplied kettle, being a resident of the City of Cape Town I am aware of the issues faced with our water supply and have been subject to a large variation in the quality of water. However, there was definitely something peculiar with the water source at this establishment.

All in all, I would stay here again if I’m needing a stay over in sea point. But wouldn’t stay any longer than a night.

Value for Money for sure , Room were nice , Iron , Fridge , Location is near to beach . Near by Centre of cape-town , Myciti bus station was near by . You will get what you paid for

Didn't like evening staff behaviour they were so rude . It was like something i can't forget or forgive . He was like asking so many question which is not related to stay or accommodation . No towels were in rooms , everyday i have to go down and ask for towel even after bringing one extra they take away . next day same thing . Bathroom were clean on problem is with basin is was clogging every-time you start water . No milk of coffee in room , some items were there but not complete you can't make coffee without coffee glass .
Please suggestion to hotel . Improve your staff especially evening staff .

Very neat and friendly staff. They are willing to go the extra mile to satisfy customers and ensure that all their expectations are not only met but definitely exceeded.

We highly recommend Sea Point Inn to anyone wanting to enjoy the City of Cape Town.

This place had lots of amazing reviews on booking site with fantastic pictures.......but the reality is quite a disappointment. The bed is uncomfortable and sheets are stained.The blinds are damaged and the television is mounted too high on the wall that it is not viewable whilst sitting on the bed. It is really budget accommodation,but a bit of investment in sprucing up the place would yield more returns for the owners.

The staff were fantastic, the rooms clean and well kept. The paintwork was shocking as if it was done by children. The blinds were in a very bad state, no adjusters to open or close it. People walking past your room can, and DO, peek into the room. The TV was a joke, we could either get channel 3 or 2, only if you run down the stairs and ask the receptionists to change it for you. The toilet seat was loose, only kept in place with one bolt, so was the toilet paper holder. A fan was supplied but there was no adapter for it. Moral of the story... Don't always believe photos you see on the internet!!
