Great local cake and treat cafe. Superb carrot cake and the best chocolate muffins. Breakfast and coffee also tasty. Friendly staff. Recommended

Has a very nice setting with inside and outside seating. Comfy seats. Good service. Nice and quiete vibe too, great for working on your laptop

Decent pizzas. Great staff and atmosphere.
They sell some fantastic focaccia bread and you can do pizza take away if you want.

I had very good experience at Sostanza; our waiter, Lucas, was friendly, knowledgeable about the different bread types and very polite. The breakfast was generous and filling - My girlfriend couldn't finish her salmon and avocado omelette even though it was so good. I never had beer as we were having breakfast but they have a good selection of Craft Beers, wines and spirits. Overall it's a nice chilled place.

Recently visited Lakeside and were told about Sostanza by the owners of the house we stayed at. Got to say that the food and the atmosphere were really bang on. We had dinner one evening and the following day we called in for brunch. On both occasions the food was excellent but the best thing about it was the staff. Everybody who waited on us were polite, courteous and friendly and were a credit to the restaurant. Well done to everyone and thanks for a great experience.
