Went to Lakeside shopping centre this evening and was going to get a Pizza, saw Punjab and decided to go in and browse the menu.
The young lady behind the counter was very convincing so I decided to try the Lamb Korma and Butter Naan.
It was by far the best decision, thank you to the young lady for her persuasive sale skills. ????????
The curry was delicious, flavourful, tasty, creamy and great meat portion.
Portion sizes are generous.
Will definitely be back.
I can highly recommend their cuisine.
Well priced and delicious.
I rate this place 8/10 for friendliness and great food.

3.5 stars. I've ordered from them several times and their curry's and Highway roti's etc are really good. BUT.... I always order my curry hot from which ever establishment. From Punjab... the heat factor is different each time. This weekend... it was unbearable. Last week... it was perfect. The week before it was different again. Quality control is not in place, i.e. if someone wants HOT, that equates to 1 teaspoon of chili (example). So this week, 1 teaspoon is added, next week, it's 3 teaspoons, etc, giving me different variations of the same curry each time.

Ordered two curries with rice and a roti. Worst curries that we have had. Very bland and couldn't finish it. The roti was cold and hard, looked like a wrap. Charged over R100 per curry! If you want disappointing Indian food go here.

Surprisingly different to other Indian restaurants I have visited. Can see the prep areas and I liked the open plan. Food was tasteful and the wine delicious.

Used to really enjoy eating at this establishment. Ordered a take away curry one evening and discovered a cockroach in the dish. Spoke to the owner who assured me it was a once off. Refund was promised but never processed. Would not recommend.

Amazing food ... we were pleasantly surprised and the service was excellent. A definate go to for Indian cuisine.
