Super-industrial, i.e. surly staff, plastic fork (no knife!), polystyrene plate, hake-u0026-chips not too bad - the only redeeming factor is fair pricing. Update: The more I frequent the place, the more I warm to the lack of phony airline smiles, expensive decor and other overheads, and the presence of a value for money proposition. The local popular support must mean something.

Recommended by the locals for authentic Cape Town fish and chips. Staff were very friendly. Update: ordered snoek and chips and the hake option, was absolutely yum, the quantities were large, tasty chips too. Highly recommended!

Absolutely horrible.
Fish old and soggy from slap chips
Could taste the guts off the fish.

Food was tasty and generous portions. Be aware of the area especially if your not a local, there many questionable characters loitering around. We ordered the hake u0026 chips and the calamari u0026 chips.

You have to pay extra if you want sauce on your food. Display menu is a little confusing as menu items are displayed randomly on posters all over the shop.

Their calamari roll used to be the best, now it gets a zero. It is a rip off! Five rubber calamari rings, on a soft roll, that turns soggy if you add chips, with salt on vinegar. Never again????????
