Woolworths Now Now Cafe CTC

If ever there was a big fat ZERO I would have given them, ordered my food at 17:07 now it is 17:55 still hasn't received my food. I am told the person who was busy with my order just left without notifying anyone. They call themselves Now Now. This is the store in Canal Walk, ridiculous service by Aphiwe!

Amazing new Woolworths concept in the heart of the city.

Now now offers a variety of meal options from prepacked salads and meals to fresh made takeaways at very reasonably prices!

My only grip is that they're only open for a very limited time in the day to cater for the city workers.

The food is fresh and of Woolworths quality. Most of the combinations are also pleasant, the build your own salad is good value for money and usually fresh.

The reason I am rating the Cafe 2 stars is because they always get orders wrong. They replace items with whatever the staff feels like. The replacements are also often meat products which some cannot eat. Sometimes there are no replacements and items are just left off.

The service is very poor and not recommended.

Don't miss this quaint little coffee shop and delicatessen. Try a small cup of coffee to test whether the blend is to your liking. It's not for everyone. I feel the brew is too hot leading to an acidic after taste. But to each there own ;)
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Don't forget your Woolworths card for that extra 10% discount.

Only reason to give a 2 star and not a 1 is because I was greeted in a friendly manner.

I only every go to Woolworths for coffee because they are the only shop who always offer lactose free milk, and I don't mind paying R50 for a coffee when I know it's good quality and I can enjoy the taste without suffering the consequences or having to settle for the bland taste of almond or soy. Very disappointed to hear it was not an option at this store, especially since I went out of my way to make a stop on an already busy morning in a part of Cape Town I don't normally get to, to get my fix

Quick service. Granted the three times I have been here its during the lunch rush, but its so efficient. Meals can be prepared, or you can grab something out of their fridge , before paying. The only thing they should really sort out are their high chairs, and counters. Even the stools outside. Having to hike up on furniture to eat is not lekker. That said, the trout salad is divine.

First impressions are great... 3 weeks later I walk for the second time, blown away the staff remember my name and how i enjoy my coffee, the place was humming with regulars, had my order quicker than I could get cash out. open before the rest - expect it to be busy for lunch - faster turn around than most, Consistency is what i appreciate most! Thanks for that and more!
