Good location for exploring the city, more business oriented feel, but was a fine property for our initial weekend exploring Cape Town. All of the typical Westin amenities, nice spa and sauna. We had a very spacious suite which was quite nice, and the executive lounge is a great touch for breakfast or snacks through the day. The main reason I am giving a 3 star rating is due to a very strange phenomenon at this hotel which prevented me from resting properly after the long journey. The exterior of this hotel is all glass, and in the morning when the temperature changes, there is a loud and distracting 'crackling sound' from the windows that will wake you up and keep you up. Its very hard to describe but you will definitely notice and its a real shame for this otherwise nice hotel. Very bizarre and they need to find a way to address this for future guests as it woke me up each morning I was there.
