Much cheaper buying flowers here then at the convenience stores. And you put the money into the hands of people that have followed this tradition through generations. Well worth the interaction with the wonderful ladies selling flowers.

Beautiful flowers. Such a wonderful part of Cape Town history. Had an interesting chat with one of the lady's selling flowers who clearly loves her work.

The best fresh flowers at really affordable prices. What I love most is that if you buy roses the stems are cleaned and whichever flowers you select the trader will even go as far as making you an arranged bouquet.I have been going to this market for as long as I can remember. Same quality as Woolworths flowers however you get way more flowers.

While some of the flowers are painted, this is still my favorite place to buy a bunch. Just check for paint of you care about that. Amazing variety and fair prices.
