Positive: dstv did not work properly. WIFI was not connecting properly, when it did it was extremely slow. The guesthouse is being renovated, it busy. When we arrived they did not know about our coming. The staff working there really tried their best. Room serviced only if one request but not daily. Sliding door was broken and it was windy so we couldnt close it properly. Negative: please see above.

I'll give it 1 star for the view of Table Mountain. I don't what was the number if the room, since it had no number on the door, but it was on tge same floor with nos 3 and 5. My car had to sleep on the sidewalk, and I felt very nervous about that. The carpet inside my room was in need of a good vacuum, one of the taps in the bathroom was leaking (which is unforgivable!), and there was no bedside lamp, which meant I had to get up and switch of the light after reading. Thank goodness it was only for one night. The list of complaints goes on and on. Won't go back.

Upon booking we were not told that the Bu0026B were under construction. Upon arrival the dirt and dust were unimaginable. We were shown our room which was right next to the reception desk and asked to be moved. Upstairs it was even worse. The floors were dirty, all the equipment was on the couches which we were suppose to sit on to watch the view...our bedroom...well...we were given two towel sof which BOTH had enormous holes in and stained. Both basins were stained/burnt with cigarette butts. We had no hot water and no one to ask for hot water as we discovered this at 03h40 on Sunday morning. Our balcony sliding door could not lock. At 08h30 on Sunday morning, we were woken up with drilling and hammering right next to our room. We decided to pack up and flee after a cold shower, only to find that the water has been turned off. NEVER EVER will we stay or recommend Waleika Guest House to friend or foe. As we walked out, one of the staff members were sitting at the pool smoking a hubbly pipe... This is just a VERY short version of our horrific stay.

This is an average guesthouse with some minor problems. Firstly the booking were mixed up and we had to settle for a room without a bathroom, luckily they fixed our booking and we only had to stay in that room for one night. The bathroom shower leaked and they only provide one toilet roll, the sliding door did not close properly. Little problems, fix that and you should see a higher volume of people staying there.

Positive: Close to the beach. Negative: Kitchen was really dirty and pots with old old food hidding under the sink. Fridge was dirty and full of old food. Very little space to cook and not any really propper equipped. Waited for days for the pool to be cleaned so we could use it..

Totally a fraud and a scam.
Reason as not the same as advertised. No health care for Covid 19. No kitchen sink to wash any disches. Had to ask for everything. This guesthouse is dirty and disgusting. The owner was not seeing once? Wonder if there is a owner?? Don't waste your time and money.
