The view is amazing. That’s about it. They only tell you once you check in that they have gone “off the grid”. That sounds noble, but what it means is that you won’t have water after 20:00 until 06:00 and the electricity also goes out at some stage at night so remember to shower early, charge your phones and if you need to leave very early, you won’t be able to take a shower. The toilet in our room was literally in our room with a low wall for some modesty and no separate door, so ultimately you and your partner need to have a very understanding relationship to make this one work. The bed was comfy and the wifi was OK. During our stay the generator broke so we had no power for many hours and for some reason this also affected the water flow so we couldn’t shower or flush the loo. Tried to call reception for an ETA on things being back up but nobody answered and reception was unattended when we went looking for a person to chat to. The saying “you get what you pay for is very apt” here. It’s affordable, but ultimately you’re paying for a great view and comfy bed, but everything else is bad. There are also loads of random items such as broken wooden panels laying around, the pool is empty and dirty and you have to enter the place through the garage, not the front door. Two of my fellow guests were also not very impressed. Buyer beware. We certainly won’t be back.

While this is an affordable property, be careful as the pictures on the Web does not match the actual facility. It is definitely not 4 stars. The dogs on the property had to be controlled each time my staff entered the property. Also cold weather wasn't catered for with heaters and only one light weight blanket was available. Will not book this accommodation again.

Enjoyed our stay, unfortunately the swimming pool was out of action. Otherwise it was perfect.

The place is beautiful, it was just untidy. Duvet cover set was dirty. The bathroom was terrible. Toilet wasn't flushing so well, water in the shower wasn't draining fast enough. It was really so disappointing ????

We paid for the view of Table Mountain u0026 a hot shower, but nothing else was worth paying for.Covid was blamed for the reconstruction being halted. There is a 4-star sign on the outside but the front door is not used (entrance through a dirty garage!). but not even a bar of soap at the basin. The 'toiletries' offered consisted of a watered down bottle of shower liquid soap. Even the carpet was dirty, but was told they do not have a vacuum cleaner! The hinges on the cupboards are broken. The toilet had an unpleasant smell u0026 the pillows smelled of smoke. The towels were small u0026 thin u0026 the curtain rail kept falling down. The wiring is shocking ( literally), but the place is only about 5 mins walk from the beach!

Booked the King room way in advanced seeing that it was a special occasion. A few days before our arrival we received a notification that we needed to either book the Queen room or cancel our booking as they booked out the King room to someone else. They were very unprofessional and did not even apologise or anything.

Very homely. My hosts were amazing! The rooms are very nice and well equipped, with WiFi, Smart TV with all the entertainment you channels you could ask for, coffee making facilities u0026 mini fridge. But the best by far is the extraordinary views over the beach and the ocean from mt second storey bedroom window. Home cooked meals are also available at a small additional cost.
I will definitely book again.

The only downside, or upside depending how you look at it, is that the rooms turns out, aren't all that soundproof.
So neighbour to the left, or right depending how you look at it, was snoring away by the time loadshedding had graced us with its presence. And to the other side, be it left or right or upside down and round we go...All I can say is...GIVE THAT MAN A BELLS!!! ????u200d❤️u200d????u200d????????????????????????????????????????

Thank you for an awesome "staycation" a mere stone throw away from home. You guys are TOP CLASS!
