The view is amazing. That’s about it. They only tell you once you check in that they have gone “off the grid”. That sounds noble, but what it means is that you won’t have water after 20:00 until 06:00 and the electricity also goes out at some stage at night so remember to shower early, charge your phones and if you need to leave very early, you won’t be able to take a shower. The toilet in our room was literally in our room with a low wall for some modesty and no separate door, so ultimately you and your partner need to have a very understanding relationship to make this one work. The bed was comfy and the wifi was OK. During our stay the generator broke so we had no power for many hours and for some reason this also affected the water flow so we couldn’t shower or flush the loo. Tried to call reception for an ETA on things being back up but nobody answered and reception was unattended when we went looking for a person to chat to. The saying “you get what you pay for is very apt” here. It’s affordable, but ultimately you’re paying for a great view and comfy bed, but everything else is bad. There are also loads of random items such as broken wooden panels laying around, the pool is empty and dirty and you have to enter the place through the garage, not the front door. Two of my fellow guests were also not very impressed. Buyer beware. We certainly won’t be back.
