Attended a function. There's no parking nor any signage stating we're to park had to circle around and park on the road which got very quickly congested. The hotel outside is clean neat and aestheticically. Venue was spacious airy and beautiful views of the city but the most disappointing part was the loo doesn't flush. While hosting an event especially all ablution facilities needs to be checked.

This is a very upmarket boutique hotel with conferencing availability, gentleman's barber shop. Situated within in a sought after area within the Berea area. Friendly staff awaits to assist you.

I will be as honest as possible and hope you read the full review. Andaluz Boutique Hotel is a lovely place and the owner is such a welcoming person. However.

1. I don’t think as a Black person you will get the treatment that you are looking for. It’s a subtle but noticeable difference in how guests of colour are treated. I mean they have a salon, that caters for all races except… :’)

Maybe their target market is not us.

2. The cleanliness of the place is terrible. I had a few encounters with some big cockroaches and the kitchen is a little scary at times.

3. The rooms are a little dated and need a bit of work. You almost get motel vibes, but maybe I’m being a little dramatic. Instead of expecting a 4.5 maybe lower your expectations to about 2.5 standard 3 on a Choose Day.

Some of the rooms have carpets I think it’s so unhygienic even more so because the general cleanliness at the hotel is not great. You can see the dust from afar. I hope they start vacuuming often or just remove the carpets.

There are some lovely new rooms, that I look forward to staying in. But I believe those might be allocated to fairer-skinned individuals. (I told you it was subtle)

In essence For the price point, I honestly think it’s not worth it, there are way better options with the feel and treatment that you would be looking for and perhaps better toilet paper.

I see there is a lot of work being done on the premises and I strongly believe the owner will turn this around in a year or so. However, my experience was just under average.
