Please be very weary when placing order. I ordered a quarter chicken and a side.

I was not asked what piece I want.
I was issued a leg piece. I went ahead an ate it as per the old adage don't return food. I also felt it was partially my fault for forgetting to specify. The chicken was cold and came in 2 mins.

I REPORTED to Ashley the manager that I was not asked which piece I wanted. I was told that if as a customer we don't say THE BRILLIANT SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY ASSIGNS ANYTHING. It does not prompt you to ask the customer. What a poor customer service model Barcelos please do something about this.. I never experience this at nandos.. Pedro's or any other reputed chicken outlet.

I told him I'm surprised he asked me everything else in detail... And thank goooodness the system did not automatically determine what sauce I want!!!!

I know it was cold chicken for someone else

They actually care. Unlike pedros they care how their customers eat their food. They literally put everything in a takeaway container for me without me having to ask. They even check to make sure everything's good before I leave. 1000 times better than pedros. They're even more affordable. ????Awesome customer service too!

The food is edible, at best. Ordered in-store as well as for delivery and both times the food was burnt, tasteless and dull. There was also some kind of thread or hair in my food.

Wow! Barcelos at gateway have really become an excellent restaurant. The new manager, Ashley, is polite and friendly. The service there is excellent, the food is prepared very well and the overall experience is outstanding. We are regular patrons and will continue to be.

Awful meal. They’ll never see me again. Staff friendly and ordering process went fine.
