Cool breeze, beautiful sunset and walks along the promenade with a cup of sweet corn and a sip of Bombay crush.... Now that's what you need when Mzansi is going through load shedding.... Allys is the place to be for that piping sweet corn, mealies etc... I enjoy my sweet corn with some peanut chutney..

Brings back memories of childhood days everything you head to the mouth of Blue Lagoon..where The Umgeni River reunites with the Indian Ocean... peace and quiet and a lovely new walkway for kids to explore while the local fisherman cast the day away. Awesome!

Beautiful beach, the market is lively and people are friendly. The beach water on the left side is very dirty - very disheartening. However the right side where people can sit and unwind is a bit better.

The Ocean was very busy cleaning itself. We couldn't go inside. But that was a once off experience will try again. Good picnic side and tight security and galore parking space.a

The lingering contamination of our oceans is more than just heartbreaking.. a place I've known for many decades does not allow me close anymore .. still come out here to take strolls after work and breathe the air of the ocean... the sounds are still calming as they've always been .. lots of rituals being conducted on the shores of our Durban beaches.. if I may humbly ask that we all not add to the already fully polluted oceans by keeping our waste to ourselves.. as festivities come along please take care of kids and other family members when out and about.

Beautiful place to take photos as the waves crash against the rocks creating a marvelous scenery. It's also a great way to get wet as the waves crash against the rocks and the after splashes in to you
