By far the worst meal I've paid for...Beef and Guinness pie was burnt black, the chips was dried out, the mash was lumpy and had not a grain of salt or pepper. Tasted like potatoes that was in the fridge and then mashed. Totally unacceptable.

It was exciting nd the life karaoke was so enjoyable plus the. Pleasent stay at the hotel was divine will b visiting soon again.

Today I ordered a bunny on ubereats and received curry and rice. I called Hops and told them, the manager corrected the order and had it delivered to my house at no extra fee. Thank you for amazing customer service❤️ Delicious food.

Food, Drinks, Service

The food is great, had a steak salad, ample steak and the dressings were also rather tasty. Portion size was large enough for me to take the rest home. They also have a lovely variety of shooters, the cherry bomb was particularly delicious. Wines are fairly priced per bottle. The service was also really good, my wine glass was never empty and our orders were taken in a timely fashion. The atmosphere was nice as we sat outside in the warm sun on the benches.

Called the crowbar now: Winner of the worst restaurant of the year award (in my books)

Manager: non existant, never heard or saw of a manager, incompetent.

Staff: terrible, untrained, over worked and lost.

Restaurant: disgusting, can't wash hands in bathroom, urine all over the floor, seats broken, tables not serviced (cleaned).

Food: my partners food arrived first, staff then "burnt my order" and I received mine 15 minutes later. Pasta and burgers horrible, pizza decent.

Bar: I had one beer in the 3 hours that I was there. Stood at the bar infront of the manager for a good few minutes only to not be served and eventually told "we're closed".

I miss a functional restaurant close to home, I miss the real hops. Crow bar is a waste of space and the owners should be ashamed of their business.

Take a drive to mulligans in Mackeurtan and actually enjoy yourself.
