Cool breeze, beautiful sunset and walks along the promenade with a cup of sweet corn and a sip of Bombay crush.... Now that's what you need when Mzansi is going through load shedding.... Allys is the place to be for that piping sweet corn, mealies etc... I enjoy my sweet corn with some peanut chutney..

Brings back memories of childhood days everything you head to the mouth of Blue Lagoon..where The Umgeni River reunites with the Indian Ocean... peace and quiet and a lovely new walkway for kids to explore while the local fisherman cast the day away. Awesome!

Beautiful beach, the market is lively and people are friendly. The beach water on the left side is very dirty - very disheartening. However the right side where people can sit and unwind is a bit better.

The Ocean was very busy cleaning itself. We couldn't go inside. But that was a once off experience will try again. Good picnic side and tight security and galore parking space.a

Beautiful place to take photos as the waves crash against the rocks creating a marvelous scenery. It's also a great way to get wet as the waves crash against the rocks and the after splashes in to you

The beach is always my most favorite place. We take a drive almost every weekend or at anytime we just need to enjoy the freedom of nature just being itself. It's the most amazing activity just looking far out into the ocean.
With the recent kzn floods there are cleanup services taking place but it's still available for your regular walk or just stop and enjoy. If this is not one of your regular relaxing activities be sure to give it a try.
