Absolute loved my stay with Claire! Her attention to detail and extremely warm and welcoming hospitality made my stay extra special.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in the heart of Umhlanga, Lavender Moon Guest House is the place to stay at.

Will definitely be going back for a longer stay.

I stayed at Lavender Moon Guest house for a week and everything was amazing. The treatment and the entire hospitality from the owner, Claire and the whole staff is superb. I recommend the place to anyone wishing to visit Durban and stay in the Umhlanga area, you will not regret!!

I visited Lavender Moon Guest House with my family for holidays in January 2022. We stayed for four days. The owner Claire was so welcoming. The employees are cheerful. We felt being home, everything was just excellent, the apartment, rooms, food and is near the beach and mall. It was very convenient to us as family.

Comfortable rooms with quality finishings. Very tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Well situated near restaurants and the Umhlanga boardwalk. Claire is a fantastic host.

Lavender Moon guest house is clean and comfortable. I come down about four times a year and always stay here. The breakfast is absolutely incredible. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. The owner is extremely welcoming and is willing to help with anything that you need.

The rooms are spacious and are always clean. There are coffee machines in each room. The kitchen has everything that you need. I would definitely recommend this place.

What an awesome place to stay, a real home from home, my room had just been refurbished as was the shared areas and it had been done incredibly well. On arrival the warmest welcome was given by the owner and staff, great coffee was complimentary, honesty fridge was well stocked, breakfast freshly cooked when you're ready. 4.9 stars isn't enough, 5 and beyond is more deserving, highly recommended, we'll done.
