Hubby surprised me with an Anniversary dinner here. An amazing experience. From entering to leaving.. there was nothing to complain about. Our waiter was Zwakele, the Service was impeccable and the food was absolutely divine.

If fine dining is what you're looking for, I beg you to look no further. There is definitely no sugar coating when I say this establishment checks all the boxes -decor, taste, service. The meals are definitely a sight for the eyes, art!

Service was slow for the high tea. Moderate set up of items at the buffet. Not much to rave about. Tables were however spacious.
They are also not very accommodating of guests. We had to wait in the reception area before the high tea was open.

Meh. Lovely ambience and staff very friendly. They made an effort for a birthday. Bit too dark to see our food properly. They were not busy but mains took really long to be served. Had 2 virgin cocktails that sounded better on the menu than they actually were. Had the Westcoast Lobster starter for R250 which was quite disappointing and completely forgettable. Mediocre restaurant.

This is fine dining. With an overview of the ocean and the most comfortable seats anywhere. Service here is very classy

Wonderful atmosphere and amazing view of our beautiful Umhlanga beach. I ordered Chef Ntsikis flambè prawns and it was delicious. The Chef prepares the dish at your table which creates such an ambience and delightful experience.

The 09.07.2022 we visited the SUGAR CLUB for the Christmas in July High Tea which we were extremely disappointed...

Firstly the atmosphere was not set for Christmas in July there was no effort put in to set the scene, there was not a vast variety of dishes compared to most High Teas we visited.

When I had to called to make the booking I was advised the kids will thoroughly enjoy the Theme there would be candy heaven, Gingerbread house and the kids would have so much fun, it was nothing but the opposite.. there was a hugh surf board stuck in the middle of the table, what has that got to do with Christmas?

There was no candy I then asked the waiter and she brought us four little bowls of candy to which all were stale the kids could NOT even it.

I have to say the Christmas in July high tea at the Beverly Hills is not up to standard considering this is a 5* Hotel, the price of the tickets were overpriced for the quality of the food being served as well as no delivering what we were told, our expectation was nothing short of disappointment
