This is a really nice centre.

There is a wide variety of different shops and restaurants to choose from.

The centre is quite easy to navigate and there are signs placed at convenient intervals to help you find your way.

There are plenty of parking spaces.

On weekends the parking fee has a flat rate of R10 irrelevant of how long you have been at the centre.

The centre does have lifts and escalators.

What an absolutely beautiful spacious and clean Mall. Every floor just has you in awe!!! Outside food area is exquisite!!!
Literally EVERYTHING you could want in a Mall from Top Jewellers, Clothing, Skin Care Body Shops, Sorbet for Woman and Men, Variety of Restaurants, Toy Stores for Kiddies and Adults alike, Bookshop and of course the legen-"dairy" Starbucks ????☕

Went to a restaurant called Mozambik. Loved the food 1st time going there and I enjoyed myself. The music was not too loud in the afternoon, food was filled with great flavors.

Must try if you going to a culture feel kinda meal.

East Gate is a big mall with a lot of stores. It offers some of the most spectacular views of Johannesburg (from the east you can see the Johannesburg CBD in the distance).

It unfortunately does not have all the stores that you will be looking for. For example, there is no Chicken Licken nor Seattle Coffee Co. They do have KFC or Kramer's Coffee for example if you are looking for an alternative.

I like the fact that it has a Checkers Hyper with a very big Dischem, amongst others.

Eastgate mall has almost all South African stores you could think of. The environment is okay, spacious and secure parking both by the entrance and rooftop. There's a Shell garage located just by the entrance 2 and 4.
I recommend it for both low and heavy shoppers.

Amazingly modern and clean with a walkway layout that makes it interesting. A wide variety of stores and eateries that make it feel like more than just a food court. Multiple levels make it seem like it just goes on and on and on. Parking is very very easy and there's plenty of space. Highly recommended. In my opinion it's better than 95% of the shopping centers in the USA as well!

Had a great time, visited the Yoyo bubble tea kiosk and took a fun trip in Hanleys and the book shop next door. Great service from everyone who assisted us at every store, most places are open till later in the evening which is very convenient.

I especially love the adoozy power bank hire which is so convenient when you need some power for your phone while you're out.
