The food was divine! Such a great eating experience. And it's affordable. The tacos here are just delectable. The service however leaves much to be desired. I would go back, just for those tacos.

This is how Chiapas packages and delivers food. Then when I call them to ask they tell me it’s not their fault and blamed delivery. Is this the type of food anyone would accept? I think not!

I would have given 5 stars
But
The server behind the counter ddnt warm my nachos properly and when I asked, she said the cheese is melted, it wasn't, so she proceeded to add the other toppings. The food is fresh but the shredded meat was cold, the person working there spoilt the experience. When I received my order it was cold and had to ask her to warm it up. Ddnt taste so good. She spoilt the experience.

Such a disappointing experience. Ordered the burrito and a salad. When I bit into the burrito something cracked, turns out it was a piece of brick. I immediately phoned the restaurant as this is a health and safety issue. The lady I spoke to simply said “I’m sorry that happens”. The manager did not ever pick up the phone. Disgusted and will be taking this further.

If you like badly wrapped burritos, flavorless food besides the oversalted chicken, this is your spot! First and last for me.

Amazing build your own Mexican restaurant. Tacos with chicken and guacamole is my favourite. Amazing staff members, great ambiance. Wonderful flavours, all worth it u0026 very affordable. A bit messy to eat so come prepared to have a blast!

There was a time where their Nachos tasted stale, but I am glad to say that Chiapas is back to serving the best Nachos in Joburg. Total waiting time for food is also very convenient. The chicken can be a little dry, the pulled beef being much better. Jalapeños would also be a welcome option.
