Went here for fathers day brunch. Was a bit of a mixed bag really.
Service took a while except for the kids meals which arrived fairly quickly and was also quite good. Their leftovers became our starters given the long wait for our meals. We were also the first people out on the deck that morning and it seemed inside customers were prioritized.

My chourizo and egg meal was ok - sounded much better on the menu than the reality, egg white was not cooked through properly but by the time the meal arrived we were quite hungry. I also ordered a bar one pan cake stack as pictured. This took ages to arrive but was ultimately quite disappointing. The pancake was very dense and heavy making it feel more like a second meal than a dessert.

Would probably look for a more mainstream seat next time i visit and maybe not for a special occasion. Just glad the kids had good food and enjoyed the play area facilities.

The place is tucked away at the back of the parking area. No scenic views here. Food is good. It's a good place for a coffee. A place where you might eat out with the family.

Early dinner @doppiozerosa sunninghill ????

We had a drive outside our area and found this lovely restaurant. There are a few around (in fact our first date together was at a Doppio Zero). This one had some incredible decor - including flamingo wallpaper in the bathroom ????

We ordered their most-ordered pizza, which was yum, and our waiter Bongani was so so friendly. The pizza itself took a really long time to come, especially for a quiet restaurant ????
But overall it was a cute mini-date and we’re glad we went.

It's been a while since I have been to Doppio Zero Chilli Lane

Thankfully it still seems to be going strong.
The menu has changed and has some interesting items on the menu and the usual selection of delicious and tempting desserts if you have a sweet tooth.

This time however (must be the cold) I went completely veg. I ordered the Butternut Soup and the Tempura Battered Feta. I added some chilli to my soup, and the Tempura and taste of the feta was absolutely sublime.

Washed down by a warm Cappuccino with cream ????

Thanks to the waiters who assisted us between shifts, loved your sense of humour. Apologies I forgot your names.

Updated review 2022

With new upgrade definitely more easy, settle in atmosphere...

Was very cold for ceilings are open and cold outside wind seeps through but the manager attended to this with heaters....

Best cut steak ..... well seared.... marrow and jue beyond delicious..

Pork belly soft... melt in your mouth!!!

Pizza ???? - personal preference crust to think other than that no bad criticism

Ordered food with Uber today, food quality was absolutely shocking , vegan wrap was old and had no flavour at all and was falling apart, spaghetti bolognaise were sour was impossible to eat it , our dog even refused to eat it, it was deffinitely old, we ordered it for our 3 years old child ,she refused to it when my husband tried it to see what is wrong he had to spat it our, it wasnt eatable, we have spent almost R400 and had to throw away the food, when we called them to complain excused were rediculous, will never ever buy from this place again ,and we were regulars there. Their manager were supposed to call us and never did, clear care much about their customers, shocking ????

Been going to Doppio's for years. Glad to see that the food and service is still good after all these years. Had the Fettucine con Polpette. Delicious!
