Was a really lively, family atmosphere. The they have lots of seating and lots of kind and helpful staff on hand. The place was clean and food came quick. The food was good but not really in line with my taste. In my estimation the prices were a bit steep. They also have an app and a loyalty card. Overall a good experience.

We went in late on a Saturday for dessert. The restaurant was winding down for the day and as such was not busy so we could easily get a seat.

I wanted a waffle but this was finished and given it was close to the restaurant closing time I was not to phased about this.

I settled for chocolate brownie with ice cream. This was prepared quite fast. The brownie was good but I felt the brownie was dense in texture which is personal preference as I like those lighter.

There is ample seating and parking available and I would be back.

I cannot fault the service I received from my waiter. He was friendly and quick at taking my order and bringing out the food. Thank you Edmund for the super service.

The food itself on the other hand was a let down.

The ribs were a major disappointment. Mostly grissle and fat. The little bit of meat what was on the ribs was tough and unpleasant to eat.

Overall the place is clean however the salt and pepper shakers were oily. Definitely needs to be cleaned more regularly considering covid is still with us.

Went in for the Monday cheese burger special and we were not disappointed.. it was superb. Also ordered the wings, which were perfectly crisp on the outside.

Very good service even during loadshedding as they have a generator. Sibonelo was a great hostess and kept upselling menu items. Food was delicious, fillet steak was succulent and juicy.

I am very upset as a few things kept on going wrong throughout our lunch stay.

1. Hair in my mom's chicken Fillet with mushroom sauce
2. Receiving raw, bloody steak when we ordered a medium rare
3. Strawberry daiquiri was too sweet and inconsistent with previous spurs
4. Chips were oil drenched and not crispy AT ALL
5. Waiter forgetting my mom's order for more water

I get angry talking about this as my mom works so hard to take us out and yet we had such an experience.

I also feel the management staff did not manage the situation well. She was hartly understanding and brushed off the sloppy chips as a supplier's problem.

I believe there are so many ways to go about handling this and I'm not even in hospitality management, which is shocking.

Do better!

Excellent service. I had a few instances in the past where there was sub par service at Spur outlets. Here, James was our waiter and was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.
