Absolutely beautiful hotel. Perfectly located right in the heart of Joburg. Gardens are a breathe of fresh air (excuse the pun), the staff are super friendly and helpful u0026 just a brilliant overall atmosphere. Really is a home away from home.

Highly recommended.

It's a very nice place,rooms are so clean n comfortable,service is fast and their stuff are so friendly not rude...and the location is best and safe place....I can't believe I'll be here for the next 1 last week,thanks for NHLS. I'm enjoying to be here

It is nice quite ,clean friendly staff .Breakfast was lit ???? even supper with a cozy restaurant.
I think of coming back again some time.

I travel a lot for business but my experience at this hotel was like something out of a bad movie:-

- water was brown due to maintenance, when I asked for some bottled water to drink I was told I’d have to pay for it!
- half of our room didn’t have electricity
- had to be moved to another room
- second room did not have hot water
- had to use a 3rd room to shower
- staff called me asking for payment 3 nights into my stay, I had already paid!
- internet stopped working during an international online presentation
- I was offered complimentary breakfast but was asked to pay for my coffee ????????u200d♀️

I was told the GM would give me a call.. Not that there is anything they can do now but I’m still waiting for the call ????

To Sunnyside Hotel,

tThank you for the care and excellent work that you did for our budget meeting. It was really amazing experience. I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED THE ROOM I was in 93. Very comfortable and spacious.

There was no hot water. Most of the shower nozzles were blocked and the food was not great. This is not what one expects from a Holiday Inn.
