Stayed here twice already and I must say, the staff is really really friendly! 5 star on that!! A cozy hotel fit for a quick overnight stay or business trip. Not for holiday!
Rooms are clean. The extra blankets they give during winter are a bit outdated and could do with a replacement. Also didn't like that there's no fridge or tea services in the rooms. However, they have tea services by the reception which you have access to until 10pm. It's just a bummer to walk up to reception at night if you need a cuppa. Unlike sun1 Pretoria, they don't have breakfast facilities.
I'd give this place a 5/5 but the location is a bit daunting....borderline parktown/hilbrow but particularly because of the meter taxis who don't like you using uber's as this threatens they're business!

Excellent in security. A client can even choose a room of her/his choice. Warmly welcoming Receptionist with a reasonable price. I give thumbs up on Berea Sun1.

The Hotel Is Nice, Clean And Workers Are Very Friendly As They Even Listen To Us, They Keep Order In The Hotel And Keeps Their Equipments In A Good State At All Times... Daily Cleaning A Room And Changing Of Bedding On A Daily Basis, Which Shows Being Neat

I went there on the 25 of june this 2022 I was so disappointed too much cz I know everything regarding sun1 is perfect the air condition was not wrking while it was very cold this whole weekend u stay inside the bed even if u don't want cz the room was so cold when u go to toilet they use 1ply of toilet paper I was so shocked otherwise the staff is so friendly I'm shocked about what I see can't they improve like otherbtsigo sun czthe hotel that is under tsogo sun they are 1000 percent good

The place is decent and affordable. The staff is very friendly. The only major downside is the presence of meter taxis right outside the main entrance of the hotel...this creates a hostile and uncomfortable atmosphere for hotel guests who opt to use e-hailing services (Uber, Bolt etc).

I did a booking early in the morning stranded, but the attending receptionist was very friendly and supportive....very informed about his job. The place is neat and well managed. The overall service was on point ....keep it up guys!!!
