Beautiful property, well maintained by the Scottish Regiment. There is a bar area and you can book for a simple light lunch. We did a tour here with Micro Adventure Tours in JHB and learnt about the interesting history of the building followed by a lunch of chicken burgers, chips and salad. A beautiful place to visit.

Lovely experience been able to see such a beautiful old house in the middle of JHB. I used Micro-Adventure Tours and Kennedy was very informative. One can have a drink/coffee at the bar as well.

Manicured gardens, a beautiful and well preserved building, with a lovely collection of military memorabilia, pictures and such. Blessing welcomed us, served us and cooked a wonderful lunch. My son, the military historian absolutely adored this place. I can imagine it being perfect for smaller functions.

I attended a military function at the view. Wonderful snacks . Amazing historical ambience. It's like eating in a museum. Excellent bar facility with efficient staff. Good parking

We attended a private function. The setting is beautiful and the food was fabulous. There is secure parking.

Excellent venue to host meetings and functions. The View, is immersed in history, tradition and nostalgia. Great kitchen that most certainly can produce excellent food.
The friendly welcoming atmosphere that leaves you with a sence of amazement and a calm serenity for may days after your visit.

Beautifully maintained Transvaal Scottish regimental home. Full of memorabilia..a hidden gem!
