I came last night into the ER. The nurses were lovely however, I waited over an hour to see the doctor. Otherwise they have lovely facilities and the food is good. The nurses checked up on me all the time and checked my vitals every 30 minutes. I felt like I was in good hands.

One of the older hospitals in the area which has been renovated a few times. They still offer good treatment and staff are caring. It's not as well lit up as one would like, so it does look a bit gloomy and dodge, but the hospital itself and the service they provide rival many newer hospitals.

The nurses are rude. They have no sense of urgency, leaving patients waiting so long for assistance that they mess themselves. It is heartbreaking to see someone you love ripped of their dignity because nurses have no desire or urgency to help!

My family and I have been going to Linksfield hospital for over 20 years because of the excellent service and convenience.
Unfortunately everything has drastically changed for the worse and ER is now a complete circus! I think a vet hospital or public hospital would be better than Linksfield.
Since Dr Meltzer left, the reputation of the hospital has deteriorated significantly. Dr Meltzer was a gem, always was in the forefront and worked tirelessly to make the hospital function like one.
Our last 4 visits were nothing short of pathetic!! We had to fight and scream for service. Those front desk and triage nurses have absolutely no compassion whatsoever. No sense of urgency either. Do they really think people frequent hospitals because they have no better place to go to!!?
Good luck to Linksfield. Such a shame that what was once a great hospital has now been turned into such an atrocious place!!

Both times I have been to the ER unit, we have waited over an hour to see a doctor. If I had something deadly both of those times I would’ve died before someone helped me.

I recently went with extreme body aches, fevers, stiff neck and a body rash. My blood counts were later assessed by my family doctor and he was shocked by the management of my condition. The doctor simply said she has no idea what the rash is and she is certain they are not related to my illness. She prescribed me corenza c and stopain. Nothing for the rash. The nurses were loud, and slow. They burst my vein taking the drip out. It feels like they resent their patients.

Both times I’ve been to the ER the beds are empty and the staff are all sitting around and chatting loudly about their own personal affairs. While the few patients that are there lay unassisted, presumably in pain (hence they are at the ER). I’m pretty certain there are government hospitals that operate better than this private institution.

Wonderful hospital, with wonderful staff, the most unfortunate part is trying to get medication from the pharmacy. I have been sitting in the Q for over an hour waiting for medication to be dispensed, my Mother was discharged this morning and it's lunch time and we're still waiting for the medication. She could be dead before it finally gets dispensed. Pathetic and certainly not acceptable

Worst service ever.... my niece arrived in emergency department at 18:00 due to severe abdominal pain.
We waited for 3 and half hours to be attended. Linksfield staff members said they were short staffed and that people had to wait in pain and be patient...
This hospital used to be one of the best and now one of the worst where they let they patients sit in pain or even die while waiting to be attended to. This private hospital should be evaluated and assessed as the level of service have let our south african paying clients down... so much for Linksfield hospital being called a private hospital should be re classified to a public hospita.
