Founded in 1929, it feels as if many of the original regulars are still there. I popped in with my son to watch the rugby, and soon made friends with Jason, Rob and Tom. Stories were shared as rounds were consumed. Standard pub fare of steak, egg u0026 chips, but actually quite a wide menu. Definitely going back. Regularly.

They really know their way around a peri peri chicken! Love the vibe here, truly a great place to have a jol. Location is a bit treacherous later at night, but you're fine if you uber and keep your wits about you.

Very nice victorian bar from 1929, if I could remember correctly. The place got a lot of character and potential. Always nice just to stop and have a ice cold beer. They only had four beers on tap.

Ordered espatada could not even get to swallow the meat so tough...then got chicken livers that still had the bitter glands in it..worst food ever and I am a foodie...music good but no use listening to good music and being hungry am surprised so many people still go there
