This is probably my favourite Indian restaurant in South Africa now. I have visited India 5 times spending many months there. In South Africa I have been unable to find good Kerala style Paratha. This place delivers.
It is very cheap, reminiscent of being in India ????
It's not fancy like the Raj, it's a humble place with good food. I met the chef who is very friendly and funny!

The food was really good, but I wouldn't recommend sitting and eating there. There were no knives! Only forks and spoons. He has no halal certificate so one of our friends couldn't eat. We found the guy selling the food to be unfriendly. Despite it all, we still had fun

Tastes awesome. Lamb and chicken briyani are the best here. If you are looking for cheap but filling lunch you can try parotta with quarter chicken.
The place is always full so be early to order anything. You can also book via phone.

Johannesburg's best kept secret, for authentic Hydrabadi food. Loved every visit for the past two years since I discovered it. Low key ambiance and restaurant layout, but will be familiar to those that have visited small restaurants in India.

A taste of Indian food away from India Starting from Biriyani to Parathas, chicken curries to veg samosa's this place has it all. The taste of original Indian food, and the quick service by the staff never fails to surprise me..
Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Fried Rice is a mist try here.. Menu varies day to day.

Very tasty vegetarian and non veg foods. Staff are very welcoming. Very big variety. Just the correct amount of spice.

Rushi has closed down will they open again need lamb biriyani.
