We phoned our rather large sushi order through and was told it would take an hour to prepare... It was done by the time we got there and the sushi was lovely and fresh. Lots of ginger and wasabi was added. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

So far best sushi in joburg. Made better than any of the other branches or sushi establishments. Meals are great.
However improvements can be made on cleanliness with regard to tables. Usually understaffed but still serve 5 star food

This was absolutely delicious. Simply Asia did not disappoint. We had a variety of items from corn cake starters with a sticky sweet plum sauce really deliciousness. The Tokyo rolls are my favorite from the lot, the cucumber is really refreshing I would suggest having it after eating other sushi to it really has refreshing taste to clean your palette. Hopefully be back to try more.

Edit 10/9/2022: Friendly service and starters were good, but owing to the extremely slow turnaround of our mains, we paid and left before receiving them. Management needs to increase the kitchen staff over weekends to cater to takeaway/ delivery app orders and customers dining in. Also, the business model should be reviewed to prioritize customers dining in, as opposed to delivery orders. Doesn't make sense making patrons wait while delivery orders are dispatched.

I understand they're busy with the half price sushi special but the manager told us there would be a an hour wait. We agreed. One and a half hours later-still no food. Don't offer the special if you can not cope!

There was an issue with my UberEats app, so I called the store. The manager was unbelievably pleasant and tremendously helpful. Eventually, the store owner ended up delivering my meal to me personally, and to boot, the sushi itself was incredible! I would recommend this store over and over again if great service, quality food and punctuality are the things you are looking for! :)

The service at Simply Asia in Killarney Mall is really deplorable. If it’s not dry food, it’s late deliveries. There is an urgent need to improve.
