I was a Service Provider at the Hall / Venue that is hired out at the Museum. It is an absolutely lovely venue to host an intimate get together. Well manicured lawns and the kids would love access to all the planes and tanks on-site. The hall caters for up to 300 guests. Clean bathrooms as well as a kitchen area to sort out your catering.

This museum has a very impressive collection of military equipment, weapons, and history. I learned much that Was new to me and would highly recommend a few hours to visit and walk through the exhibits. In fact, it may take a couple of visits because there is so much to take in!

Interesting museum with lots of airplanes and tanks. Lots of other artefacts to keep you busy. You'll probably want to visit multiple times.

The kids loved all the military displays and equipment. Well maintained and safe area to visit (next to Jhb Zoo)

Having last visited a few decades ago when it felt a bit "cramped", I was very surprised and impressed when we visited this beautiful place on Saturday. As I'm a SADF veteran, I believe the displays and exhibits are well balanced and capture the history very well. I love the feeling of space in the outside area too. Hats off to those who are keeping our rich military history alive. If I was to suggest a few additions, I miss the Buffel and the SAMIL series of trucks. And regarding visitors' overall experiences at the property, perhaps a coffee shop and a curio shop?

I was very impressed with the museum. Everything was clean and in very good condition. The war memorabilia were very impressive and all of the equipment was wonderful to see.

Great war museum with plenty of rare exhibits. On par with the best European museums of military history.
