Madison Manor is a stunning boutique hotel. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated with some antique furniture alongside modern finishes. The bathrooms are elegant and grand, a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day. The family are very welcoming and are now firm friends since we have been returning for a few years. They go above and beyond in their service and care. I left some clothes behind and they called us soon after check out to inform me. Thank you.
The breakfasts are the best we have had in South Africa in terms of flavour and choice. The restaurant is superb serving well sourced local food, bursting with flavour! Portions are huge too! The views are on another level! They are simply stunning over the Knysna Heads and it is lovely to be up the hill a little, out of all the hustle and bustle of the Knysna Quays. You cannot beat this setting or venue! The beds are incredibly comfy with gorgeous soft clean sheets. We loved meeting the new addition to the family....Simba the chocolate lab pup! All in all, do NOT hesitate to book your stay at Madison Manor. You will NOT be disappointed. Can’t recommend it highly enough in terms of accommodation, location, friendliness of staff, food, comfort and luxury touches. Thanks guys for another fantastic stay and for organising and recommending excursions for us, which turned out to be the highlights of our trip to date! Keep up the good work! We miss you already. See you soon.

We stayed at Madison Manor and really enjoyed the breathtaking view from the deck, the food at the restaurant were repaired with quality ingredients, so delicious…. Our room had stunning old charm furniture and an amazing bathroom. A Big salute to the owner and staff for making our stay memorable. Madison Manor is truly the gem of the garden route

Madison Manor Boutique Hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. everyone made us feel like king’s u0026 Queen’s. the Hotel is situated in a very covenant location on the garden route. The Hotel over looks Knysna bay, the yacht club, waterfront and the town. The rooms are first class. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Cannot say anything bad about this hotel. It’s a must visit destination. Loads to do in the area.

Fantastic stay, the views from the pool offer the best we seen of knysna. The staff could not of been any friendlier or accomodating. Rooms are spacious and clean. Ask for room 12 and enjoy

May 2018 Travel

Booked the place via recommendation of the local office unit. A Boutique hotel run by a family. Very warm and friendly people. Reached from the George Airport a bot late. The manager attended very well and allotted the room. Nice room with a stunning view of the Knysna City and Waterfront.

Breakfast was served in the hotel's restaurant by a very friendly chef who was also fond of Bollywood songs! You have to inform them in advance for dinner. I did for one night and it was brilliant.

Enjoyed Amrula, the local liquor at the bar. Well attended by the service manager. Good time spent talking about the place, city, South Africa, politics, economy and India! Followed by 3 course meal dinner!

Had a gala dinner arranged by the local office unit. It was good and we enjoyed the hospitality.

Very nice place to spend quite and relaxing time.

No kids allowed under 13 (if Ia m not wrong).

It provided us with a Base of command while we were driving through Knysna to Kwandwe game reserve and we arrived after the dreadful fires but luckily just in time for the World famous oyster festival and It was there that I had an oyster for the first time. The hotel was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the view was to die for.

With the current devastation in the local area from the forest fires this place still provides a great service, very friendly and helpful staff, commands a marvellous view over Knysna, lovely comfortable rooms and beds and great facilities. A pleasure being a guest there with my family.
