There electricity disappears a lot here. Just unannounced and the problem never gets fixed, it stops for a while and comes back. Safe place but not good since there are electricity issues

Balwin is terrible...The Whisken is always having electricity problems. They are continuing to build yet the current phases have continuous electricity issues. Currently we have not had electricity for 72 hours. Be weary before buying

Very classy and beautiful place. The entertainment area completes the set up. Something different from a lot of other places I've seen. Awesome place.

Be very careful when opting to rent with Balwin properties. Don't get lost in the beauty of the place, the management is horrible. Balwin is very quick to demand for payments from you but to pay back is a problem. I moved out end April, it's now 3rd June and I still haven't received back my deposit because they don't want to give it back to me in full. They constantly come back to me with crazy costs that make no sense, for example they are charging me R900 to replace a dustbin lid and R800 to replace a sink plug???. I never missed a single payment, I kept the apartment in good condition, now it's time for them to pay up and they keep coming up with excuses to short change me for my money.

It’s a very convenient, beautiful, great facilities and close to great shopping centres, the finishes are great, however their electricity billing system is actually a bit abnormal, I wish it can be changed, secondly I do believe that there’s just something not right with the electricity as it trips most of the time for the whole complex but the surrounding areas have electricity, There’s no week without electricity outage mind you this is not load shedding so dealing with this both issues makes a strain for paying such a huge bill of electricity. Such issues are better communicated and solved. A complex were tenants move in and out in short terms or contracts because of such issues causes a negative story line and brings the dignity of the place down and this is not good for investors as some units are up for sale by owners. Thirdly the complex is unfinished as there’s an empty land or site within the complex which keeps the wonders that there’s still gonna be noise and dust that tenants and owners have to deal with as construction might still go on who knows when. Fourthly there has been security issues so I wouldn’t say the security is 100%.
