The buffet was a huge disappointment!
The starter consists out of bean soup and bread - no other options.
Only two salads and a fruit salad.
Mains were mostly tasteless and the beef tough. No desert included for your R199 spent.
We gave it a second try, but surely it was the last.
Tsepo, our waiter was friendly and helpful - he deserves to render he's services to a much more professional establishment.

We visited this place for the first time and we are never coming back here. There was a dead fly in my coffee and a strand of hair on my wife's food. Absolutely disgusted!

Spoke to the manager regarding this and she was very rude with terrible body language. She admitted that there is a fly problem in the restaurant. She said that she's already not charging me for my coffee, what more do I want from her. She took no accountability for the hygiene practices their establishment nor did she apologise for the inconvenience caused - I literally pulled the fly out of my mouth!

I believe this could have been handled differently.

We went there to buy some takeaway for dinner, we ordered some oxtail and an eisbein. We were fairly disappointed, firstly the food took about 40 - 50 minutes, the eisbein was fried and lacked in flavour, maybe consider some sauces to so the dish isn’t so dry? The oxtail was also disappointing, although it was cooked perfectly it was just did not taste good, it lacked seasoning and overall it could’ve been way better.
Anyways, will probably not be returning.

I have been visiting Bronberg for many years, eversince it was still very small and belonged to my late friend Faan. However, today Sept 6, 2022 I can only rate it a low 3 simply because of the attitude of the manageress. Very few people in restaurant only 1 big table, yet food very late. When talking to her she was offensive and then dismissive and walked away. That is not the Bronberg I am used to. The food was as usual good. Conrad Herbst.

Great place, amazing food, the waiters can be a little friendlier. The menu needs to cater more for teetotalers otherwise it's a great vibe. The sheepshead is divine. Absolutely to die for ????????

Very good place to bring a group of people. Very very good food must say, I travel a lot and the food here was one of the best places I ate this year.
5 starts. Friendly service and they have awesome specials

Good quality food. Great staff. Prices are a tad high but you get the luxury feeling here
