This is one of my favorite restaurants in Pretoria. The have the best Poke Bowl I have ever eaten and the service is wonderfully friendly. Their lattes are also amazing!

Their poke bowls are really good. For being someone who can eat quite a bit, their one dish is very filling. Their coffees and special lattes are also really good. Would definitely recommend for you to come and try.

Stopped off for a post run coffee and catch up with a large group. The staff were working fast on their feet to bring out coffee orders timeously. Waitresses were friendly and helpful and brought out water for all the tables after our run. Although very busy the service was great and the hot chocolate with almond milk was delicious. Looking forward to visiting again to try the food - looks delicious.

We tried two of the special lattes and had the ferro Roche and red velvet cakes. The drinks and cakes were really good and worth the cost. The space itself is lacking. It's too small for all the chairs and tables and so you sit really close to other customers which isn't pleasant but also isn't the biggest problem. Also when sitting inside it becomes hard to hear one another over the noise of the machines in the small space. Would recommend an outside seat. Besides spacing, overall it's a lovely Cafe.

Fat Barista is always pleasant. Service and food are good and situated in Serene Drive in the middle of Garsfontein is draws a sfeady number of customers in that area who want a light meal and good cup of coffee at a reasonable price.

I ordered a smash burger with a rooibos and spices tea.

The tea was disappointing, no spice was present and it tasted like weak rooibos and some froth on top.

The smash burger looked beautiful and the chips were tasteful. The burger, however, had no taste and I had to ask for salt so that it would taste like something. The bun also crumbled like it was old... I will not be eating there again. The "sauce" was tomato sauce mixed with mayonnaise - in the 21st century you need to try harder than that.

Service was on par and it looks beautiful, just don't eat there ????

The menu posted online is old, and you should add R30 to every meal to calculate the correct price.
