We went to Forti for a celebration dinner and were looking forward to the food based on the reviews. The service was excellent as we had an attentive and friendly waiter. However we were greatly disappointed by the food. The food looks amazing but was lacking in flavour. We had the hot soup to start which had little effort put in, the wings were okay and the oysters were great. For mains we had the fish special which was kingship that also lacked flavour, the ravioli lacked seasoning but the lamb chops were a redeeming factor.

What an amazing dining experience! Great service from the staff at Forti - special shout out to Mr Catz and Mark. Great wine pairings to the food (word of warning - you’re gonna get LIT). I’ve posted the food as well as what wine it was paired with. I wish I was a food critic so I could go into every dish but alas, just know that this is a good way to see the range in food that is on offer. I personally preferred the gnocchi in the Gorgonzola sauce more than the Napolitana.

Reservations in advance are essential to secure a good table.

I would also recommend arriving earlier, we had a 7PM reservation and had to rush through the last few courses because of time.

They also have the most amazing artworks in the restaurant - elegant ambiance. The place was quite packed (hence reservations!). I loved the experience, will definitely be back!

What a great evening???? The food was absolutely the best. Lovely fresh bread while waiting for the food. I had lamb chops medium - perfectly cooked with the right amount of fat on each chop. The portion was more than enough. I am scared to have mash at a restaurant, but with the pepper sauce it was perfect. Veggies lovely an crunchy. My daughter had fillet - melt in the mouth. As a side the most delicious French crispy onion rings. Our waiter Wilson was a kind attentive man and we wanted for nothing please share with him this review. The service was exceptionally fast.

Had dinner at this establishment lastnight and was very impressed with the service. We were served complimentary bread rolls. I didn't know what to order and the waiter asked if he could create a platter for us, I agreed and was surprised with ribs, chicken wings, chips and veggies. The portion size was great and I had ribs for breakfast and lunch today

I'm gonna start by saying, the view is absolutely beautiful. So the price of the food makes sense, cos you're also paying for the view. I've had not so good experiences with seafood pasta, but I gave it a try and it was the best I have ever had. Perfect spice, sauce, presentation, everything njhe. The 4 star is for the ribs not falling off the bone, but overall this restaurant has won my heart. Bravo????????????

Drinks were great. Food was ok. Vibe was great. I’d return. - also feel like the menu needs more vegetarian options. Generally had a good time

Wow....great experience and wonderful food. Had my 40th Birthday dinner there and it was soooo special. Will be a regular from now...especially in summer for sunset cocktails
