Delicious food and great service in a nice Japanese ambiente with love for detail. The baked cheesecake is a must-try, as well as the Spicy Siam mocktail.

One point for improvement - the temperature in the restaurant was too cold for my liking. There were heaters - unfortunately, they were placed right next to an open door.

Apart from that, great overall experience and would recommend.

Food was good. No complaints. I enjoyed my meal but the service was horrible. Arrived and asked if there’s a table available upstairs and the guy told me he doesn’t know and I must go check. I get upstairs and the waiters all ignored me and I literally had to walk up to a waiter and ask if I can sit at an empty table and I was told no sorry it’s reserved. Went back downstairs and asked for a table and I was told to find one without a reservation sign? Excuse me. I just found the staff to be a bit rude and not helpful. Food was lovely though. Not sure if I’d come back

We arrived at Koi during peak hour on a Saturday so it was quite packed. We sat by the bar waiting for a seated area to open up but we had so much fun sitting at the bar that we never moved. The bar staff was accomodating and friendly. The atmosphere enables conversation as it's not ridiculously loud. The drinks and dessert we ordered were delicious.

Classy and high-end. Must have cash to splash, but well worth it. I had glad of Shirah, which was really good. My friends shared a bottle of Rose, which they couldn't get enough of. I don't recall the name though. I chose the duck which was a little disappointing. It was nicely presented and fun to build the little wraps, but it was dry, and tasted like chicken, which should never be the case. The sushi on the other hand, was sublime. A work of art. I have had sushi at plenty of restaurants, but this is without a doubt the best.

KOI has to be my favorite restaurant in Pretoria East. The food is absolutely out of this world. I enjoy their beef noodles , beef rib-eye with mushrooms and their signature cocktails.
The restaurant is so beautiful and the people that go there as well very modern, well presented and well dressed.

Had lunch at this spot, the most of the meals were enjoyable and beautifully presented. We had the ribeye, it was average, the line fish and chicken were delicious, we ordered some sushi too, I wasn't impressed, otherwise I liked the venue it has a trendy set up and the service was good.
