Best service for people in stress

From the 7th July till the 1st August my dad was on ventilators at this hospital due to covid, end of week 1 we were told that he had a blood infection and that he needed an experimental drug called colistan and that he needed this urgently and that they would get it and we had to do a part payment, we straight away agreed to pay, a week went by and they said that they struggling to find a supplier that has stock. The following week (29th) we got so frustrated with waiting we decided to contact discovery and enquire what the hold up was and they replied they have suppliers with stock of the meds but the doctor did not send through there order and did not fill out the documentation correctly, 30th we took this up with the hospital manager which assured us that they will get the doctor to redo the paperwork and get it done tomorrow, I went to see my dad the 31st and asked if the medication was there, they told me it arrived an hour ago, I left the hospital at 2pm really hoping and praying the medication will start helping soon as it is 2 weeks over due due to the doctors mess ups, at around 11pm we got a call from the nurses saying we need to get to the hospital immediately as they trying to resuscitate my dad. Firstly why did they wait till they were resuscitating to call and not when he showed signs of decending stats? Secondly on the next day after a complaint was laid, this is just too much of a coincidence. We got there in 14mins as we rushed frantically to get there as quick as possible, but on arrival we were told very grouphly that he did not make it. My heart was shattered. This hospitals administration is disgusting and their care for the patients is just as bad because when we said goodbye to my dad's lifeless body we noticed he had not been cleaned and his hair was crusty. I would 100% recommend not to use them if you have the choice, unfortunately we did not because they were the first hospital with a bed open, great job with our health care system mr president(sarcasm), we will be seeking legal advice and taking this further.

Did my covid travel test at the Pathcare container and received my results in 6 hours! Great speed and great service. I also phoned a few times beforehand and the workers in the testing facility were very helpful and informative. Thank you!

My mother Rosa Evans was admitted last saturday for covid and she was released today. Wonderful service from staff in ward Fg26. Thank you. Thank you. Great service my mom very happy with food and treatnent. Thank you

Clean and professional. Friendly staff and helpfull security to give guidance. Great food court at ground level. Really impressed with the quality and cleanliness.

The staff members from the security,reception,doctors,cleaners,nurses they all are so helpful and very friendly.Thank you for the kind and caring all you guys showed us during this very difficult times.Please people lets be patient and considerate front line workers are facing tremendous pressure. God bless you all and stay safe!!

Poor telephone etiquette negatively impacts on the hospital's brand. Telephone etiquette means being respectful to the person you are talking with, showing consideration for the other person's limitations, allowing that person time to speak, communicating clearly and much, much more. Really hope patients are treated differently.
