Well appointed decent sized room with a great king size bed and all the nice touches one appreciates - like milk in the fridge and courtesy chocolates, DSTV and full size towels. The room has a private entrance so one can come and go as one pleases. Access to the whole facility is via security gates, for which we were provided our own remote control. The guest house is ideally situated close to the center of Pretoria, with quick access to the universities and places of interest like the Union Buildings.

Noisy and flimsy.
The rooms let plenty of sound through, the water pipes are especially loud. The fixtures feel as if they will fall off at any moment, it just feels very cheaply done.

If connecting to nature, warmth, calm and order is your style, Waterford on Lawley is the place to go. Rooms are spacious, charming and well equipped. Most have high thatch roofs and patio doors that open to quaint verandas with views over a well loved garden. Staff were most helpful, friendly and patient - felt like talking to old friends. Breakfast was served in manor style and we were not rushed sitting there for hours with family and friends. Definitely 5 star boutique hotel level and 100% value for money.

Nice and cosy except for the dstv remote which didnt operated from a distance. You need to be infront of decoder to change channels.

Beautifull place the only drawback is if you stay on the ground that the noise op the people on topper level and the geysers are an irritation. Otherwise beautifull and very safe. Recommed to stay in top level.
