Firstly apologies for the not so great pictures, but after being stuck in traffic for more than 2 hours thanks to the rain and traffic I just wanted to heat my food and eat since it got cold and I was starving.

On my way, I had called and placed my order. I was told they didn't have Lamb curry but were busy making a fresh batch. I was more than willing to wait that extra time for fresh curry. So we ordered 2 Lamb and 1 Chicken Curry and Roti, and one portion of Soji. The food was done on time, and I managed to make my way out of the storm.

Can honestly agree this is definitely proper Durban styled curry. I can only imagine the taste when eating it when served fresh or in a Bunny. Loved the flavour of the curry, the gravy and the potatoes. The soji wasn't bad either. A little bit mushy but it still tasted nice.

Will definitely buy again from Dali Restaurant next time I am in the area. I am usually a supporter of another spot nearby but have been dissapointed with my purchases the last few times. So it's taken me a really long time to finally give Dali a try.

The best bunny I've eaten in Jhb. Great flavour. Packed with lamb and soft potatoes. Accompanied by a fresh carrot salad with the right amount of heat, salt and vinegar. Will definitely be back.

Best authentic Indian food in Johannesburg... Definitely a hidden gem, I have been searching for good Indian cuisine and finally found the best spot in Jozi... The service immaculate to say the least and the food is devine...

Dali is the best Indian, home feel, brilliant restaurant in Randburg, Deva the owner is absolutely welcoming, friendly and had the best service, the food is fantastic, delicious, fresh and affordable I recommend this to anyone who is looking for their Indian food fix. I am a regular and I don't get tired of it.

Hi All. Deva hats out to u my brother. This is the first time in my 22 years in JOZZIE, I got the right bunny just like Durbs, if not, better.
The lamb bunny was absolutely tender as I asked. I never saw better tasting meat piece anywhere in jozzie.
Brother i praise u and pray that u keep this up.. u r are a dynamic cook that sets the kitchen on fire...your son whom I presume he was, gave me some vinegar chillies and he went that extra mile to offer me the smaller dynamite chillies....that made me laugh and I told him... that's me for today i wont manage with the small red chillies???? ???? .today 27 th sep 2022 I patronized the restaurant and I wish them many many more years of service to the public...

Ordered the "fresh" chicken curry with roti.
Sufficient amount of meat and gravy, no potatoes. Comes with 2 wafer thin roti and salad for R100. Taste was ok in comparison to proper dbn curry. Will go back to try the lamb curry.

My best spot when I’m back in Johannesburg. I always make a point to visit. I absolutely love the lamb bunny with extra chilli. Feels like I’m back in Durban.
