I haven't felt this unwelcome in a shop in a very long time. Almost no stock on the shelves, and when I mentioned the part that I was after I got a very funny look. When presented with the item code and description from Plumblink's website, I received a headshake. It took me asking that they order it for me to get them to move their butts.

I offered to pay upfront, which they accepted. No invoice though, only an Account Payment Receipt that reflects the amount I had paid - No mention of the items or the cost per item. The remittance is also for some random company, probably due to a software limitation and no fault of the branch themselves. When I asked for an invoice, I was dismissed with "We can't issue an invoice because we have to order the items". Like a quotation or a pro-forma invoice doesn't exist in their lives? Surely if I arrive a week later and ask for the items, or if I send someone to go collect, we'll need something to verify the order against? Time will tell if I get the correct items.

Truly an awful experience.

Pathetic I asked them to please keep the last of the items for me as they told me they have in stock , when I got there they said they don't have and it's been sold, Poor service

I went for a job at tigers direct marketing(vision marketing) which is a direct marketing company but found nothing other than a bunch of people trained to scam people! Warning to anyone on their way for a job interview

It's quite a different place, it has shops and offices. But I think it's mostly services
