The rooms are peaceful and spacious, and all staff members are friendly and professional. I recommend to all looking for a guest house in Johannesburg to visit The Pepper Tree, the laundry service is world-class, not to mention the scenery is stunning. There is plenty of space to work from with lightning-speed wifi certainly I look forward to my next stay at The Pepper Tree.

The garden is breathe taking. My room, although small, for it was the singelbed bed option, was a comfortable size and clean. Please give attention to guests leaving early regarding breakfast... offer a breakfast pack to take along.

Poor service the was a white guy the when i say at the gate ringing the bell he said to me he will open but i waited there for like 5 to 7 minutes nothing when he comes out he was shouting at me like I'm crazy or something.... I was angry really angry

Owners are very kind and friendly, always making sure that their guest is comfortable and happy. They always check if you are still fine and if there is anything else that you need. Excellent service, a very nice,neat and private place. They always communicate with you especially when there is loadshedding. I really enjoyed my stay while I was there.

The place looks even more beautiful by the pool and chill area then what you see on the pictures. The apartment we stayed in was very specious and homely.

I really loved how peaceful the place was, well maintained gardens, relaxing music over a generous and good breakfast. The room has so many thoughtful touches, a heater, electric blanket, additional throw and an overhead heater in the bathroom for the colder days. I truly was impressed with the place and would highly recommend it to friends and family.
Tips for hosts: Thank you the generous carton of milk in the room, however I think single serve options would be better as it is not ideal to find milk that's already opened.
The fabric shower curtain seems to have collected a urine odor, perhaps switching it for a different material would be helpful.
I loved the space a lot, thank you so much for a brilliant space. Will be visiting again ????????
