Serene hiking trails, chilled picnic spots, amazing views. I would definitely recommend this place. The main bathrooms weren’t working when I was there so I had to use another one that wasn’t really for the visitors (NB bring tissue)

Beautiful place. Very simple and straight to the point. They offer a 2km hike. We have been to 11km before so this one was a bit quick for us. However it's so peaceful and not alot of people. You can't buy any good or drinks here so be prepared to bring your own. There's a lot of shade and sun combinations of both. When you approach this place it may look closed but it is opened. Security is very friendly.

Great hike, a little short but I did 3 laps. Well marked, great view points of jhb north. Very safe. The staff are amazing and super friendly.

Beautiful peaceful spot in the middle of Sandton to walk. Good for a 40 minute walk. It is safe and there is gate and security where you sign in. Lots of parking space where security looks on to. There are toilets. The reserve is well kept. Amazing to have such a little heavenly nature reserve in the middle of Paulshof, Johannesburg.

It's an okay place to hike (there's a 2km trail) free of charge , great views from top of the hill , braai area available as well and it's also safe try it out ,

Green spaces like nature reserves and preserves are important in urban areas, not only for the way they preserve indigenous landscapes and their primal beauty but also as 'green lungs'. Fortunately for us in Fourways and surrounds, they also act as breaks from the continuity of estates and complexes that stretch into every direction. This is clearly visible from the top of the ridge that is the nature reserve. The hiking trail is well maintained and clearly marked, winding and looping is way up and down the ridge. It also has a park area with picnic tables and small venue compound which I'll assume can be rented out for functions. The trail is popular with runners, hikers, families and small groups wanting a quick nature getaway.

A reserve outside your doorstep! If you lucky you may see some wild life. Enjoy stunning views of the Sandton and Midrand skylines, sunrises or if you keen on a bit of fitness, do the 2.5km route as a hike or trail run. Fitness not your thing, bring a picnic basket and blanket to spend the day under the trees in the yard.
