Solo date and wanted some Asian food.
I enjoyed the service and atmosphere of the place. Not too packed, staff were friendly and accommodative. I will definitely be going there again. I love that they cater for vegans and vegetarians. Would be nice if their menu had some images especially for those trying something out for the first time.

Service Options_ there is indoors and outdoors eating area within the mall.

Health u0026 Safety_ staff wear masks and they check temperature.

DEI - diversity, equity and inclusion friendly. Feels inclusive and safe for all

Accessibility _ friendly, wheelchair accessible car park and entrance

Food - great taste and portions are value fir money.

Artmosphere - cosy and friendly

I unfortunately did not take pictures of the sushi. It was so great as well! I highly recommend So Yum. Their service was great and the food was delicious ????????

Asian fusion food. I always have the same dish the Crispy Ginger Fish which is fish fillets, ginger, chilli and fish sauce…with rice. They also offer noodles. I love this dish. The other dish is the Pla Chu Chee which is Crispy-fried fish fillet in coconut curry sauce….also with rice. I’ve previously had dim sum as well. The restaurant tables are partly inside the restaurant and in the Hyde Park walk way. It’s minimalist design suits the character of the restaurant.

Their food remains on a very good standard, very tasty and good portion sizes at a good price (unlike some other close by extremely overpriced "hip" , and Instagram-able places that break your dining budget for the remainder of the year...) The whole menu offers good options, and every dish selected to be on the menu is a taste sensation. Management and all serving staff are extremely attentive, and ensures that all patrons leave So Yum as a satisfied client. Highly recommend!

Really good food. The ginger and lemon tea is phenomenal. The service is great. Would recommend.

The location of So Yum is nestled in the heart of the mall where you can just feel a buzz and gets you excited to enjoy it all.

The waiters of the restaurant are extremely easy to get a hold of, and are very helpful and attentive to your table. The table and cutlery were clean too.

The food quality is seriously amazing! There is a wide choice of Asian food, but of high quality. There is not one negative aspect about it at all. Everything came on time, and promptly. You could essentially taste every ingredient provided, everything was fresh!

We also had cocktails here, which were mind blowing in flavor!

This is worth your stop, and a return visit for sure!
