The rooms were okay as was the staff. Breakfast was included and alright. The room smelled a bit and when taking a shower, the bathroom was wet. The window in the bathroom was adjacent to the outdoor living room, making it hard to get fresh air in the bathroom and the vapour out. To conclude, it was okay, but it was way overpriced for what it was. For that money, you should get more and better quality.

Almost, but no cigar! This place has soooo much potential, but it misses the mark. It's not within walking distance of anything. Also, it's a beautiful property, but the owners invested only the minimum to make it habitable as a hostel. E.g. there's a pool, but the shell looks rusted and noone even considered going into it. It's also pretty quiet and everyone tends to keep to themselves. Depends on what you want.

Love banghoek place. I make sure to stay here when I visit Stellenbosch. Tried other hostels in the area and this is the best by far. Swimming pool, nice staff and breakfast. Quality of both dorms and private are good. No complaints, will go back.

The building and gardens are nice. we stayed in a dorm - the beds are okay, facilities could be cleaner. Unfortunately we got robbed just after we arrived, the luggage was ransacked more thank once.. Verry disappointing.

Great place to stay. Very clean, efficient, 1st choice for the discerning backpacker. They are South African friendly as well. All and all a place that I will return to!

I think that you should put some televisions in the rooms and I'm a bit disappointed in the bathrooms/toilets!!
I love the pool and the Lounge...Thank you for your service!!!♧♡
