This wine farm is close to town and offers truly beautiful views. It has a lot of potential. Somehow it just lacks that animating energy and life that you would like to experience on a Friday afternoon. At the time we were the only visitors tasting wine. There is however a real authentic charm from the farm life that unfolds on the fields before you. With a tractor in the distance and birds chirping as they dance between tree branches, the sun setting beautifully behind them. Service was friendly and the wines were presented adequately. I very much enjoyed the 2014 Lady May. There are also very affordable tasting options. There is a manned safety gate at the main entrance and semi covered parking bays. The gardens and grounds are beautifully kept and well maintained. The glasses were unfortunately not very clean, and had cloudy marks that I presume were left by a dishwasher. On paper this should be a great experience and has all the potential, but it missed the 4th star from me and is some ways away from a 5th. It might be worth a return visit sometime during a more lively time of day.

Affordable wine tasting prices. Great views and the cheese board was absolutely wonderful! Thank you for the good service. Came there twice already now ♥

As expected, the restaurant is very good, and the outdoor seating offers an excellent view across the vineyards. All the serving staff were friendly and very helpful. I would have given this establishment 5 stars expect for the main dish's presentation. However, what the main dish lacked in presentation was made up by the taste. My only suggestion is that given that status of this wine farm, that more attention is given to the presentation of the main dish. That aside, the wine farm hosts a very interesting glass collection stretching back to the Roman era. The curator was a fountain of information regarding the glassware history. We certainly will return to the wine farm.

What an experience. Take the time to tour the cellar and barrel room and don't just do a wine tasting, the food at the Vine Bistro is out of this world! In my husband's words "I never want this plate of food to end". Just the most incredible flavours.

Absolutely beautiful wine farm, love the way the restaurant looks out onto the hills of vines.

We tried the wine tasting and enjoyed the experience with a knowledgeable wine server. Liked that we were able to customize the tasting to specific wines. Wine tasting on classic selection is R10 a bottle and on the reserve R40 for two vintages of the same cultivar and then the Premier selection is R50.

Stand out wine was the Cab Franc and Chardonnay.
When you order a case of wine they do free delivery anywhere is SA. Also tasting fee is waived depending on what you buy and quantity.

Do recommend to visit and maybe have lunch at their beautiful restaurant. Also beautiful mountain views as with most farms in this area.

Great wine sales knowledge and tact, no mention of paying for the tasting prior to being introduced to the wines and being offered mineral water gratis. The vine restaurant looks perfect for a medium sized gathering. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Paved drive to the tasting rooms. Clean and well maintained facilties. Beautiful vistas of the surrounds. Can recommend the Lady May wine!
