Very beautiful rooms and dinning area Staff is very friendly but extremely loud, no consideration for guests whilst cleaning. Cleaning equipment all over, with loud music playing and singing and discussing guest.
Breakfast, very stingy with breakfast not much of a variety, Town Lodge that is not a 5Star and boutique, offers more.
Loadshedding: there is a generator and made it worth it. But had a problem to get in and out with the electric gate that does not have a backup system, and to get someone to assist to open was not easy and had to wait for help.
Expected much more from a 5 star

This boutique hotel is one of the loveliest places I've stayed in. I love the decor of the rooms. It's situated in such a safe and welcoming area, walking distance to shops, cafés and pubs. Secure and very beautiful

The pool area needs to be better serviced, even on a windy day. We checked in at 2 pm and it was all covered in leaves. No cleaning that day at all. The next morning at breakfast it looked even worse. For 5-star service, the inside and outside should be clean at all times. Breakfast was good but not outstanding. Salmon u0026 scrambled eggs served on a normal toast instead of ciabatta or homemade bread. Food was partially removed (fruits, cereals) while we were still eating. It's good but not up to 5-star standards.

Themba is the true star of this lovely place. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Their AirBnB unit is gorgeous, stocked with everything you need.

My wife and I stayed one night in Stellies at Batavia Hotel. The service was great and the rooms done up superbly. We loved the light features in the room and decor in the dining hall. Complimentary breakfast was delicious, I recommend the salmon with scrambled egg and cream cheese! Plenty of great restaurants, shops and cafés within short walking distance makes the location superb.

Beautifully situated in a quiet and safe area. Loved everything about it...from the beautiful room , breakfast and the staff. Themba does quiet a good job.
I 100% recommend.

This hotel deserves all five stars! Just 10 rooms and the service was ecellent!! Big English or continental breakfast included in the prize.
