Great wines at great prices. A wide variety of wines all available per glass, served in beautiful wine glasses, ons the sidewalk in Stellenbosch under the oak trees. Great spot to grab a wine any time of the day. Also 2 great beers on tap for the beer drinkers. Small little spot with a great variety.
Quite a few wine bars in the are, this has to be one of my favorites.

Amazing value for money wine bar. If you like ???? try the Roxton Black. Deep and layered - a good rich blend for the price. Nice platters. Can be noisy inside if you’re not looking for that. Service can be slow but friendly.

Nice vibe, exceptional wine. Too bad the service was bad. Waitress couldn't care if we sat in the kitchen. She ate ice cream behind the bar and asked the other gentleman on duty to fetch our bill. Such a shame.. what class.

I’m a regular and can really say that it feels like a relaxed “home away from home”. Lovely people and good, well-priced wine. The staff is friendly and remembers your name and order; they’re both personal and professional!

As a local, Bramptons is a firm-favourite. My fellow study-buddies and I have a tradition of kick-starting each new term in the spirit of celebration and thankfulness with a bottle of their delicious Brut Rosé MCC!
Split between two it becomes student-budget friendly. We are all about making the most with the least, and so our tradition runs as follows: Each sip of the first glass must be sealed with a cheers to a declaration of a great term and everything you’d like to achieve for the upcoming term. Although, I must admit I make a toast upon every sip of every glass until the bottle is finished, just to cover my basis .Don’t let your budget or your time get in the way of having great traditions!
P.S. the MCC tastes even better when you go to buy a bottle at Bramptons and go to drink it on Coetzenberg watching the sunset. You won’t regret it!
P.P.S. If you’re a fan of a sweeter MCC, this is a bit more on the Brut side (but try it still!)
