Lovely little café with great cakes as well as some savoury options. I was the lucky winner of a Friday Cake Giveaway - I received a beautiful and decadent espresso chocolate cake with salted caramel. Definitely worth a visit, especially on a Friday to enter their cake competition.

This restuarant is cozy and inviting, with interesting artistic finishes on the walls and the warm scent of pastries in the air. The only thing it needs for my 5th star is some teaware to match its unique brand. The bland white cup - with small chip - didn't quite do its delicious contents or beautiful context justice.

One of my favorite places in town to grab a coffee and a light brunch or lunch.

Decreasing my rating because I really hate coffee cups without handles. They burn my fingers.

Edit:
Public holiday and the owners are running it themselves. Quality of the food and coffee is great, and the service good too. Increasing rating by one.

Really enjoyed our brunch here. Great staff as well. Plenty of seating and chilled cafe vibe. Food was delicious, unpretentious and full of flavour regardless of what you ordered. Coffee was decent as well. A great stop over in town :)

A lovely little place tucked away
I hade the croissant with bacon, tomato u0026 melted Gruyere cheese. This came served open sandwich style with a bonus side of scrambled eggs u0026 salad.
Beautiful classic relaxed queerly style decor u0026 very pleasant service

The best breakfast spot in Stellenbosch. Also, if you're looking for coffee with soya/almond milk that tastes like the real thing, then this is the place!

The staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming. Some even remember your usual order which just shows their attention to detail.

The daily breakfast/lunch specials are always a treat. The newly-introduced cake tasting is highly recommended.

On the north side of the street is the large cafe which serves breakfast and lunch. Food is delicious and service is excellent. Just across the street on the south side is their coffee bar The Blue Crane Roastery (see photos). Coffee is top notch and both the cafe and coffee bar deserve a 5 star rating. One of the best executed concepts in Stellenbosch.
